Suicide Risk Assessment
Christine Edwards has been admitted under the medical team for an overdose of paracetamol tablets. The patient is now medically fit for discharge, however before they are discharged from the hospital your consultant has asked you to talk to the patient to assess the risk of attempting suicide.
Your task is to explain to carry out a suicide risk assessment and explain your management plan.
DO NOT EXAMINE THE PATIENT, DO NOT TAKE A HISTORY
Any notes you make must be handed to the examiners at the end of the station.
